You are part of something being built from the ground up in Des Moines. Capital City Roots FC is Year 2 in the UPSL Premier Division — semi-professional soccer, free admission, and a community that shows up. This form gets you on the inside. Match updates, merch drops, event announcements, and more — straight to your inbox, no noise.
Tell us a little about yourself so we can make sure what we send you actually matters to you. And if you want to be part of the loudest section in the stands — the Roots Vatra — we want to know that too.
Welcome to the family. Roots run deep.
The Roots Vatra is the official supporters section of Capital City Roots FC — and it is not for the faint of heart. We are the loud end. The ones starting chants, banging drums, waving flags, and bringing the kind of energy this city has never seen at a soccer match. We are talking painted faces, noise makers, “Roots Run Deep” echoing across the pitch, and general beautiful chaos from kickoff to full time. If you want to stand with the people who believe in this club the loudest — this is your section. We want you.
Rising Roots Initiative is a separate, fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded alongside Capital City Roots FC. It runs free youth clinics, community events, and development programming across the Des Moines metro. If you want to stay informed about upcoming clinics or volunteer opportunities, opt in below.
