Capital City Roots FC is proud to congratulate forward Ephraim Lunganga on his signing with the Des Moines Menace of USL League Two.

Ephraim came to the Roots out of Iowa Lake Community College and brought exactly what this club’s environment demands — work ethic, competitive edge, and a willingness to be coached. He earned his place in the lineup and earned his shot at the next level. Now he’s taking it.

This is the second Capital City Roots FC player in as many days to sign with the Menace. Grady Walston was announced yesterday. Ephraim today. Two players. One club. Two days.

That’s not a coincidence — that’s a coaching staff that prepares players and a league that tests them.

Head Coach Hamed Alic and the CCRFC staff create an environment every session that pushes players to compete at a higher standard. That work shows up when it counts. And the UPSL Premier Division provides exactly the kind of competitive opposition that prepares players for moments like this — organized clubs, real pressure, real games.

Ephraim is ready because he was tested. We’re proud to have been part of that.

Congratulations, Ephraim. Go make Des Moines proud.

Roots Run Deep.
